 It is a relief and miracle that news reports coming in say that yesterday's crude oil explosion in West Virginia has come without a single fatality. But the derailing of a train carrying 100 tankers of oil is, without a doubt, going to cost us exponentially.

 After what feels like a lifetime I am heading back to Slimbridge ready to capture the first crane chick in the South West of England in 400 years on camera!
 This past week has been a very intensive week. I have filmed every day bar one when the weather was not so good, and it has been quite the challenge!
